About Us
We are a family-oriented wife and husband team dedicated to finding authors who are storytellers at heart and want to join the Lake Country Press family.

Brittany Weisrock is the founder and the creative force behind LCP. Previously contracted/published with FyreSyde Publishing, Brittany regained the rights to her series, Triad, which is now self-published under the LCP house. A blogger, and published article writer, she handles submissions, acquisitions, developmental editing, marketing posts, creative aspects, and other delightful tasks all while raising a teenager and two rambunctious cats.
Bryan Weisrock is in charge of all our behind-the-scenes projects and management. He heads up contracts, ordering books, and loading books for ePub, print distribution, etc.​​​​

Tara Sexton is our copy editor. Her role is to help authors fine-tune and polish their works. You can find her on Twitter, Tiktok, and Instagram! Click her website for link.

Rae Valtera is an Editorial Intern, author, and in house cover designer. Her role is read over queries and help find the stories we love!

Haley Warrington is an LCP Editorial Intern, author and Literary Agent with The Booker Albert Literary Agency. She helps read over queries in search of our next great book!​

Emily's World of Design, Lilith, Rae Valtera, We've Got Your Covered Book Designs, Mars Lauderbaugh, Selkkie Designs, Fay Lane, and Zoe Norvell, are some of the cover artists we had the privilege to work with.
Sometimes a cover needs a bit more than a skilled designer. We require an additional artist.

Vivsketchess has done art for Playing for Keeps, Knives, Seasoning, and a Dash of Love, We'd Know By Then Special Edition, I Think Olive You, and Under Locke & Key.

Dazzlingjedi completed the character art design for the cover of sports romance, Sliding into Love and you'll see her character art featured on the cover of our upcoming queer romance, Appcidentally in Love.

M.E Morgan completed the cover for our debut, YA fantasy adventure, The Island of Forever.

Darling Santa Maria is set to be the artist behind ​Puck to the Heart by Juliet Bridges.
